Let's take them in order:
- CEO compensation caps are silly, especially given the fact that many of the companies which will now have to abide by the caps were given an offer that they could not refuse--in the Godfather sense, of course--when it came to accepting capitalization from the United States government. Now, the government has altered the deal and the companies are expected to pray that the government does not alter it further. That's just precious.
- The Obama Administration stumbles. They will find their way back eventually but it is clear that the Administration is not ten feet tall. Perhaps its political opponents should not fear taking it on.
