Pants On Fire

You know, John McCain took a lot of flak when it came to his stance on immigration that paired him up with people like Ted Kennedy and didn't involve throwing illegal immigrants out on their ear without any consideration whatsoever to humanitarian concerns. Whether you agree with his stance or not, it was a stance that took into consideration the feelings of Hispanic Americans and was undertaken with the hope that it would attract bipartisan support and serve as the basis for a comprehensive solution to the illegal immigrant problem here in the United States.

But of course, you would not know that if all you had to go by was this lying ad.

Jake Tapper calls shenanigans. Others should too. The Obama campaign is plainly playing on the fears of the Hispanic community with this ad. Few efforts at demagoguery have been so utterly transparent and shameless.
