How Times Have Changed

Now, Dana Milbank is going to be a thorn in someone else's side.
To be sure, I imagine that he will be far nicer to the 44th President than he was to the 43rd one, no matter what happens in the future. But I look forward to reading all of the complaints about Milbank from the very same people who expressed such admiration for his snarkiness during the course of the Bush Administration.
And make no mistake: They will complain. Past positions to the contrary that they have taken will not factor into the equation one iota. The "reality-based community" doesn't let small thinks like consistency get in its way.
