Shenanigans CalledPosted by Pejman Yousefzadeh on Thu Oct 16, 2008 at 01:26:52 PM EST
Some people have some 'splainin' to do:
The agent in charge of the Secret Service field office in Scranton said allegations that someone yelled "kill him" when presidential hopeful Barack Obama's name was mentioned during Tuesday's Sarah Palin rally are unfounded. Other than Singleton, no one has corroborated the story. As of the writing of this story, there is no correction from the Washington Monthly. Maybe in their zeal to feed their commenters with nasty stories about the nasty Republicanses, neither Steve Benen nor Hilzoy have gotten around to taking a look at the news yet.
