I agree with the commentators who say that this third Presidential debate featured John McCain at his spunkiest. The question, of course, is whether this spunky debating performance comes too late to save McCain. The odds are against him but polls tend to close in the waning days of a Presidential campaign and if McCain can keep the margin respectably close, he stands an outside chance of winning. Three weeks is a very, very, very long time in politics and while Barack Obama is measuring the drapes and planning his victory party, this race is not over yet.
Of course, the real winner of the debate was Joe the Plumber. And evidently, he did well enough that Joe Biden felt the need to attack him and . . . I don't know, doubt his existence?
Stay classy, Joe. If Biden didn't exist, we would have to invent him.
