Not Gonna Do It

There are wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, an ongoing entitlements crisis in the United States, an impending Presidential election, potentially profound changes taking place in Europe--especially in France, Germany and Britain--and we are witnessing the rise of China as a great power and the renewed imperial ambitions of Russia.
So you will forgive me, I trust, if I say that I have nothing to add regarding the sad case of Larry Craig. About the only thing that interests me regarding this issue is the fact that Craig's resignation today may help shape GOP Senate prospects in 2008. But by all accounts, Senator Craig will be replaced by a Republican and Idaho is a safe seat for the GOP.
So I have nothing to say. And I will say nothing. If you came here for salacious blogging, you'd best move on.
UPDATE: Okay. I'll break my self-imposed rule of silence to observe that Dan Drezner--as is his wont--asks a very interesting question.
