Orin Kerr On The New FISA Amendment

An informed and sober post. Given Professor Kerr's description, I see little reason why the new law cannot be extended past its six month sunset provision. Of course, Professor Kerr makes some recommendations as to what he wished the new FISA amendment did maintain, so one hopes that if in six months we are meant to revisit this issue anew, he will be called to testify before Congress and give his opinions on the matter.
