Because We Can Never Get Enough Debunkings Of The "Trade Deficit" Metric . . .

I give you this post to contemplate. There have to be--and doubtless are--hundreds of similar examples to show why the "trade deficit" is a worthless statistic to keep track of. It should go the way of the dodo bird and if enough people point out the fact that it adds nothing tangible to the national knowledge repository, it will.
